ah! Ventures is an investment platform that has introduced its maiden angel fund amounting to Rs 100 crores and a green-shoe option of Rs 50 crore. This investment has taken a step ahead to invest in early-stage and Pre-Series A startups.
This new sector-agnostic fund has a futuristic vision to invest a big amount of Rs 3-5 crores each in 30-35 pre-Series A startups. In addition to this, the startup is aiming to focus on the areas that include healthcare, fintech, education, B2B SaaS (business-to-business Software-as-a-Service), enterprise tech, and D2C (Direct-to-Consumer).
As per the information collected by the medium of resources, it is said that ah! Ventures have invested Rs 250 crores in startups so far. These startups belonged to 25 sectors and in 28 follow-on rounds.
ah! Ventures were set up in the year 2010 in Mumbai. ah! Ventures were founded by the - brainchild of Harshad Lahoti. The founder of the company is an engineering student from Pune, who began his career with Larsen & Toubro in 2002.
This fresh funding will be focused on early-stage and Pre-Series A startups with "global ambitions".
