Leverage Edu, a study abroad platform, raised $40 million in its Series C funding round led by Educational Testing Service (ETS). The round also saw participation from existing investors Blume Ventures, DSG Consumer Partners, and Kaizenvest PE.
This is a 35-40 percent up-round to Leverage Edu's $22 million Series B round last year. The company is now valued at $150 million.

Leverage Edu will use the fresh capital to expand its team, invest in product development, and grow its international footprint. The company plans to hire 250 people in the next 12 months, taking its total headcount to over 1,250.

Leverage Edu was founded in 2017 by Akshay Chaturvedi, Aditya Sanghvi, and Nikhil Paliwal. The company provides a one-stop solution for students looking to study abroad. It offers a range of services, including counseling, application assistance, and visa guidance.

It has helped over 15,000 students get admission to universities in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and other countries. The company has a team of over 1,000 professionals, including former Ivy League admissions officers, test prep experts, and visa consultants.
