Masoom Minawala is the first-ever influencer to walk a runway as a showstopper in the global fashion parade. Masoom is the face of Indian fashion, a global fashion icon, and an influencer of youngsters on trending styles. She started her career being a small fashion blogger leading over various social platforms to the red carpet. Later, she was recognized on the global platform.

Early Life

Masoom Minawala was born on 17th December 1993 in Maharashtra, Mumbai. Masoom belongs to the Jeweler’s family of Mr. Rajesh Minawala and Mrs. Seema Minawala.


She began her career at the age of 19. A small footwear startup was owned by her where shoes imported from China were sold. But unfortunately, the business didn’t gain popularity in the market. The first attempt was a failure for her. 

After facing failure, she started blogging in fashion by setting up the Miss Style Fiesta portal in 2010. It was a fashion portal that was focused on trendy outfits in the making, democratizing fashion. She promoted her website and got a chance to work with brands like Jimmy Choo, Dior, Hakkasan, Gucci, Stella McCartney, Jo Malone, and many more.

Apart from scaling herself in the fashion industry, Minawala also kept many open spaces for young talents in the field of fashion jobs in India.

Masoom - An active philanthropist

She invested her money in the UN’s National School Feeding Programme. In the covid-19 pandemic, Masoom was affected by the virus and got treated in the year 2020. She was also a part of a Mumbai-based NGO which is a part of Dharma Bharathi Mission. The NGO facilitates food for low-income groups. 

Her fashion platform empowers women by providing personal tips and follows the hashtag- #WomenInBusiness. A few years back, Minawala published a series of content to promote mental, physical, and spiritual health.

In 2019, Masoom had a walk on the Cannes red carpet for L’Oreal for the first time. She has been representing India over the on-game point, for consecutive three years. She was spotted at Cannes 2022 with the stunning pink look.
